Leah Martin has known since a young age that medicine was her calling. Drawn to the science of healing and the reward of helping others, she built a career that reflects her compassionate, receptive nature and her love of lifelong learning. Before becoming a physician assistant, Leah worked as a medical assistant at Virginia Women’s Center—an experience that sparked her passion for women’s health and inspired her to pursue further education. During PA school at Randolph Macon College, she returned to VWC for her women’s health clinical rotations and loved it so much that she knew she wanted to come back and build her practice here.

Leah is especially passionate about patient education—whether she’s helping someone understand hormonal changes, navigate contraception options, or break down a treatment plan. She believes each patient deserves care tailored to their unique needs and works hard to ensure every person she sees feels heard, informed, and supported.

Outside work, Leah enjoys gardening, home decorating projects, and relaxing with her husband and their two dogs at the Rappahannock River or on the beach—from Sandbridge to Anna Maria Island. Leah is an animal lover of dogs and cats. A proud Packers fan and devoted foodie, she’s always on the hunt for a great meal—her local favorites include Conejo and Edo’s Squid.
