Nidhi Khosla, MD, MBBS

When growing up in India, Dr. Khosla noticed that women were always considered inferior to men. This cemented her desire to make women feel special and well cared for and to help educate and motivate them to do and be more. Joining our VWC Short Pump and Midlothian teams with 20+ years of experience, Dr. Khosla wants all women to know that self-love and self-care are critical. You must always believe in yourself. You are precious.  

Her obvious love of what she does is evident in every single interaction with her patients and staff. She bonds like family and spreads happiness wherever she goes. Dr. Khosla prides herself on being approachable. She wants her patients to feel comfortable sharing anything and everything, and to trust her wholeheartedly. While she loves caring for women of all ages, she has a special interest in minimally invasive surgery, adolescent endocrinology, infertility, and hormonal therapy in peri/postmenopausal women. Both sending one of her patients home the same day after minimally invasive surgery or guiding a woman to bring new life into this world brings her true joy.

With a commitment to service that extends beyond Virginia Women’s Center, Dr. Khosla offers free guidance to her religious community members. Additionally, she reviews medical articles and videos for the American Association of Gynecologic Laparoscopists (AAGL), which is dedicated to researching and advancing minimally invasive gynecologic procedures.

Passions beyond her professional life include family(she’s the mother of two handsome young men and married to a transplant surgeon), playing with her puppy Khushi, singing, cooking, and trying new cuisine. As someone who enjoys everything she does and finds joy in the simplest of pleasures, it would not surprise you to know that Dr. Khosla is also an avid fitness enthusiast. She loves CrossFit and Hot Yoga and spends as much time as she can moving in the great outdoors.
