Over the weekend of November 2, 2024, our Mechanicsville office experienced a catastrophic flood that caused significant damage to more than 50% of our brand new building. Since then, our incredible team, and recovery and construction crews have worked tirelessly to repair the damage and restore services.
We’re excited to share that screening mammograms at our Mechanicsville location will resume on Thursday, November 21st, and diagnostic services will resume next week. One of our four mammography machines has to be replaced, and some repairs are still in progress, so overall capacity remains limited. Cabinetry, sinks, and other essentials remain on backorder, so we’re making do with temporary solutions for now. Please excuse the mess, construction noise, and any inconvenience as we continue to rebuild.
