Dr. Hasamone Nimjareansuk is leaving Virginia Women’s Center. Her last day caring for patients is Friday, October 25, 2024.

At Virginia Women’s Center, we are deeply committed to providing you with the highest quality of care. We are writing to inform you of an important update regarding our primary care services. Dr. April Nimjareansuk and Dr. Nicolas Platamone, our two primary care physicians, are leaving Virginia Women’s Center. Their last day caring for patients here will be Friday, October 25th.

Drs. Nimjareansuk and Platamone have made invaluable contributions to Virginia Women’s Center, and their absence will be deeply felt by both our team and those of you who have come to trust and rely on their comprehensive care. We recognize the importance of continuity in your healthcare and sincerely apologize for any disruption their departure may cause. As we transition, please know that we are committed to diligently assessing the future of our VWC primary care service line in the coming weeks.

Continuity of Care
We are actively compiling a list of primary care providers in Richmond, including virtual care options where appropriate. We will send a follow-up communication once this list of resources is available.

Hasamone Nimjareansuk, DO
Dr. Nimjareansuk is taking some time to determine her next steps and has no immediate plans to establish care in Richmond. She may explore opportunities in other areas of the country and potentially engage in travel medical care.

Nicolas Platamone, DO
Dr. Platamone will establish care at EuDoc, a membership-based direct primary care practice this fall. While his official start date is yet to be determined, you can check his availability by visiting EuDoc’s website at eudoc.me.
