Meet Valerie “Val” Pulley, RDN! Val’s passion for helping others was inspired by her father’s career and dedication to excellence in healthcare. Her journey toward becoming a Registered Dietitian Nutritionist (RDN) truly began in college, where she discovered her love for the science of nutrition and its practical applications.

Driven by the belief that everyone deserves to live their healthiest life, Val is passionate about helping patients achieve their health goals. Beyond general nutritional counseling, her areas of expertise include PCOS, insulin resistance/prediabetes, diabetes management, weight loss, and helping women with breast cancer optimally fuel their bodies. As a two-time breast cancer survivor herself, she brings a unique perspective to her practice, advocating for others and helping them navigate the complexities of health and nutrition. Val is committed to listening to her patients, understanding their challenges, and tailoring practical, sustainable solutions to fit their lifestyles.

When she’s not caring for patients, Val finds joy in spending time outdoors with her family, skiing, hiking, boating, and camping. Richmond holds a special place in her heart, with its perfect balance between city life, mountain retreats, and beach relaxation.
