Obstetrics and Gynecology | NAMS Certified Menopause PractitionerDr. Powers earned a Bachelor of Arts, summa cum laude, from Texas A&M University. She received her medical degree from the University of Texas Medical School in Houston with an Alpha Omega Alpha distinction. She completed her residency at Wake Forest University Baptist Medical Center, in Winston-Salem, North Carolina.
Dr. Powers is board certified in obstetrics and gynecology. She is a fellow in the American College of Obstetrics and Gynecology. She is a member of the Richmond Academy of Medicine.
Dr. Powers’ obstetrics and gynecology practice is well rounded. She enjoys working with high-risk obstetrics patients, as well as women who are post-menopausal. She has an interest in minimally invasive surgery and laparoscopy. Dr. Powers is fluent in Spanish.
In her spare time, Dr. Powers enjoys baking, swimming, biking, jogging and other outdoor activities. She likes to spend as much time as possible with her husband, son and two daughters.
