Since joining Virginia Women’s Center in 2005, Dr. Leigh Lewis has cared for women at every stage of life. She enjoys supporting patients with their first gynecological exams, menstrual concerns, birth control options, and hormone therapy consultations. A Menopause Society Certified Practitioner (MSCP), Dr. Lewis specializes in menopause management, providing evidence-based, personalized guidance for women navigating midlife. Understanding that a healthy weight is key to overall well-being, she is also an active member of Virginia Women’s Center’s Medical Weight Management team, helping women achieve and maintain a healthier lifestyle.

Dr. Lewis earned her undergraduate degree from the University of Virginia and her medical degree from the University of Kentucky. She completed her obstetrics and gynecology residency at Exempla Saint Joseph Hospital in Denver, Colorado, and is board-certified in obstetrics and gynecology.

Outside the office, Dr. Lewis and her husband bring their love of the outdoors to Virginia, enjoying ski trips, tennis, and spending quality time with their three children.
