Dr. Kimberly Galgano received her medical degree from the University of Virginia, where she also completed her residency. She graduated Cum Laude from Dartmouth College, with a Bachelor of Arts and attended the College of William and Mary, where she received her master’s degree in history.

Dr. Galgano is board certified in obstetrics and gynecology. She is a fellow of the American College of Obstetrics and Gynecology.

Among Dr. Galgano’s accomplishments, she was honored as chief resident of the OB-GYN department at the University of Virginia. She was also resident physician of obstetrics and gynecology at the University of Virginia Health Sciences Center, where she received the resident teaching award. Dr. Galgano was also named a Bowman scholar for excellence in clinical clerkships.

Dr. Galgano enjoys the full spectrum of obstetrics and gynecology, from adolescence to menopause, and high-risk pregnancy.

Dr. Galgano enjoys running, traveling with her husband and spending as much time as possible with her two daughters and son. In 2000, Dr. Galgano completed the Boston marathon.
