To My Patients,

It has been a privilege to care for you and be a part of your lives for the past 31+ years. Thank you for trusting me with your care. It has truly been a gift to know you, and I am deeply grateful for the relationships we’ve built together.

As many of you know, I am retiring at the end of the year. My last day in the office will be December 30th.

I understand that changing healthcare providers can feel difficult, and I want to reassure you that you are in excellent hands at Virginia Women’s Center. I am confident another provider in the practice will be a wonderful fit for your personality and healthcare needs. Provider biographies and videos are available in the “Your Care Team” section of the Virginia Women’s Center website. If you would like assistance selecting a new provider, please call 804.288.4084, and our team will be happy to help support you during this transition.

As required by state and federal law, your medical records will remain confidential and securely maintained. If you choose to continue your care with Virginia Women’s Center, no action is needed. If you decide to seek care outside the practice, our team will work with you to ensure a smooth transition of your medical records and ongoing care.

Caring for you has been an honor. I will always cherish the trust and connection we shared. I wish you and your family continued health, happiness, and all the very best in the years ahead.

Warm regards,
Cathy

Cathleen Ford Conner is a board-certified women’s health nurse practitioner. She earned a bachelor’s in nursing from the College of New Rochelle. She earned a master’s degree as a women’s health nurse practitioner and a degree as a family nurse practitioner from the Medical College of Virginia. These include contraception, nutritional counseling and diabetes counseling (especially for obstetrics patients). In addition, Cathy offers BRCA and COLARIS Testing to determine whether an individual has certain hereditary gene mutations that would increase her risk of having certain cancers.

Balance is an important part of Cathy’s life. She is an avid walker and also enjoys sewing, gardening, and reading. Cathy also appreciates that her schedule allows plenty of time to spend with her daughter.
