Growing up in Charles City, Virginia—where even a basic doctor’s appointment meant a 30–40 minute drive—I learned early on how challenging access to healthcare can be, especially in rural communities. That experience ignited the spark that led me to a career in medicine, and watching A Baby Story on TLC as a kid helped me fall in love with women’s health.

I’m passionate about creating a space where women feel empowered, supported, and heard, at every stage of life. My goal is for every patient to leave their visit feeling like they just caught up with a trusted friend. I want you to feel completely comfortable, but also genuinely seen and involved in decisions about your care. We’re in this together.

I have a particular passion for working with teens and young adult women, which stems from years of mentoring in summer camps, working as a medical assistant here at VWC, and serving as a resident assistant during my time at Old Dominion University. There’s nothing more rewarding than hearing a patient say, “That helped!”—whether it was a medication, a lifestyle change, or just feeling validated and supported.

Outside of work, I’m a proud member of the Chickahominy Indian Tribe in Charles City and enjoy taking part in local powwows. I’m also a self-taught seamstress (my other dream job!) and love sewing and beading Native American jewelry. When I’m not at my machine, you’ll likely find me exploring new restaurants between Richmond, Maryland, and DC with my boyfriend—and our dog, of course! I may be a self-proclaimed foodie, but I’m also a beginner runner and have tackled five 5-10K races so far. Progress over perfection!

Most of all, I want every patient to know: it’s okay to be nervous. I’ll meet you with empathy, honesty, and a genuine desire to help you feel your best.
