We’re thrilled to welcome Tyler Morgan, MD, obstetrician-gynecologist, to Virginia Women’s Center as the newest member of our Midlothian team.

Dr. Morgan was initially drawn to pediatrics. He loved the idea of caring for children as they grew and building lasting relationships with their families. But during medical school, he discovered that women’s health offered the connection and deeply rewarding moments he had been looking for. Dr. Morgan loves connecting and caring for patients through the many chapters of their lives.

As a physician, Dr. Morgan listens first. He wants every patient to feel comfortable, heard and confident that they have choices in their care. By asking thoughtful questions and meeting patients where they are, he works with each person to find the approach that makes the most sense for their health, life and individual circumstances.

Dr. Morgan also values the teamwork behind exceptional care. Whether he is in the office, operating room or labor and delivery, he enjoys working alongside a diverse team with the shared priority of doing what is best for the patient.

Originally from Chicago, Dr. Morgan spent most of his life in the Midwest before making Richmond his home. He grew up working alongside his dad in residential construction, starting when he was just 12 years old. Outside the office, Dr. Morgan enjoys growing vegetables, watching professional sports and playing pickleball nearly every day. He especially loves the James River, where he can often be found swimming, fishing or floating with friends and family.
