As a family nurse practitioner at Virginia Women’s Center, Hannah brings a listening ear, a passion for education and a commitment to helping women take an active role in their health.

“I want my patients to feel like they’ve just sat down with a trusted friend—someone who will listen, advocate for them and be on their team,” she says. “It’s an honor to care for women on their best days, their hardest days and everything in between.”

Growing up with nurses in her family showed Hannah how she could turn her interest in math and science into a career helping others. After earning her nursing degree from James Madison University, she spent three years caring for patients on a progressive care unit during the pandemic. She later found her calling in women’s health on a mother-infant unit, supporting women as they recovered from childbirth and adjusted to life with a new baby. That experience inspired her to earn her Doctor of Nursing Practice from Virginia Commonwealth University and care for women throughout their lives.

Hannah especially enjoys caring for women during and after pregnancy, supporting patients with gestational diabetes, helping patients understand their birth control options, and making teens and young adults feel comfortable with their care. She takes time to explain options, answer questions and work with patients to make decisions that fit their needs and goals.

A Richmond native, Hannah enjoys spending time with her husband and their spoiled pup, Rocky. Away from work, you’ll find Hannah traveling, planning their next lake trip, or enjoying the outdoors and the water. Hannah also loves exploring Richmond’s restaurant scene—Stella’s has her heart—and is always happy to hear a good coffee shop recommendation.
