Amy H. Moore, MD

Amy H. Moore, MD, is an obstetrician-gynecologist who cares for patients at the Midlothian location of Virginia Women’s Center.

Dr. Moore is committed to building strong physician-patient relationships and providing thoughtful, evidence-based care. She works with patients from diverse backgrounds and focuses on creating a comfortable, respectful environment where concerns can be discussed openly.

As an obstetrician, she guides patients through pregnancy and childbirth, developing lasting relationships along the way. She also supports patients with breastfeeding, offering guidance both during pregnancy and postpartum. In gynecology, she emphasizes clear communication and individualized care plans to support each patient’s health and quality of life. Her clinical interests include minimally invasive gynecologic surgery using the da Vinci robotic system, as well as comprehensive contraception and sterilization counseling.

She moved to Richmond for medical training and has made it her home. Outside of work, she enjoys spending time with her husband and children, especially biking, being outdoors along the river, and trying local restaurants.
